Norman Prokopchuk

Norman Prokopchuk founded Canamera Coring in 2013 which operates in Canada and the United States. With his team of top experts in the coring industry and the development of innovative intellectual property, Canamera is now the number one coring service provider in North America.

Norm has over 40 years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry. Prior to founding Canamera, he founded Corion Diamond Products which he later sold in 2005. Before founding Corion, Norm also worked for Baker Hughes in various global management positions for all product lines, to include Coring.

Norm’s relentless pursuit of refining the coring process demonstrates his commitment to efficiency and innovation. His continuous efforts have lead to enhanced productivity and quality in coring operations.

 

Richard Prokopchuk

Richard's expertise in driving operational excellence and his commitment to delivering results have been instrumental in cementing Canamera's position as a leader in the downhole coring industry.

Richard's career, which spans over 30 years in the oil and gas industry, is marked by a series of strategic roles in which he has consistently leveraged his skills to enhance organizational performance. His proficiency in sales management, coupled with a deep understanding of operational intricacies, has enabled him to spearhead initiatives that have propelled Canamera Coring to new heights.

Under Richard's guidance, the team at Canamera Coring has achieved significant milestones, including the successful application of the latest drilling techniques to complex subsurface geologies, leading to operational success and cost savings while setting records in North America.


Scott Erickson

Manager, Coring Services
CANAMERA CORING, INC.

Scott Erickson joined Canamera Coring in October 2018 and brought with him a wealth of experience working on drilling rigs across Canada as a driller and rig manager, with a specific focus on coring as well as underbalanced and directional horizontal wells.

Since 2008, he has worked at the corporate level in Calgary Sales, working closely with management, drilling, geology and procurement personnel at E&P companies, potash/mineral companies, junior operators, and consulting firms of all sizes in Canada, USA and the Middle East to supply and consult on both wireline and conventional coring services.

Scott holds Red Seal Journeyman Rig Technician certification from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT).


Blake Mock

U.S. Sales Manager
CANAMERA CORING

Blake brings 18 years of comprehensive expertise in operational and sales roles within the oil and gas industry. His journey commenced at Austin College in Sherman, TX, where he earned a degree in Business Administration while demonstrating leadership as the varsity football team captain.

Transitioning seamlessly from academia to the field, Blake honed his skills as an MWD (Measurement While Drilling) technician and later ascended to the role of MWD Coordinator. Recognizing his aptitude for sales, he embarked on a new path with NOV Coring.

In 2013, Blake became one of Canamera Coring's principals. He now holds the position of US Sales Manager, leveraging over 14 years of specialized experience in coring technology to drive the company's success.

Blake's diverse background in both operations and sales positions him as a trusted leader in navigating the complexities of the oil and gas sector. With a relentless commitment to growth and innovation, he continues to make significant contributions to the industry.
